Everita was born in Latvia in 1974 during Soviet times. Her parents divorced soon afterwards. While her mom was working hard to support the family, Everita was mostly raised by her loving grandmother who taught her many valuable lessons of life. „If the heart is empty, the head doesn`t matter” – is one of them. Thank God, grandmom still lives in Everita`s beloved place – small town Jaunjelgava.
After USSR crash, Latvia gained independency in 1991. Deep economic crisis started. People lost jobs, hyper inflation ate savings and corruption developed.
In this difficult economic situation Everita had to choose practical, an income promising field to be able to support her mom, grandmom and 3 siblings. Because of their belief and support, she was motivated to excel.
After graduating form the high school in 1992, Everita moved to the capital city Riga, where she decided to use her talent in mathematics to study economics at the University of Latvia. During studies she started to work for banks. And then the wheel turned. She got better and better jobs in finance management and obtained more subject knowledge in economics and business at the Agricultural University of Norway, then EMBA studies at Stockholm School of Economics and project management at Stanfrod University, USA. Even, though, Everita made a successful carreer, until this day she thinks that the best thing she has ever learned is that all the theories is nothing without an experience. The same goes for life - nothing really matters, cause love is all we need...
In 2001 she met Brian, her future husband. They both got married in 2003. Then lived in California, USA for a while. Everita attended yoga coaching classes to became a yoga coach and continued her career in finances in San Francisco, CA area.
During those years in America, inspired by the open-mindness of San Francisco, physical challenges of yoga and meeting many interesting people, she got that dual feeling of being free and caged at the same time in so called „good life” routines: regular shopping, watching tv, movies, eating great foods in great restaurants, travelling, etc. but not having time an energy left for something more meaningful...
Idea about the slogan CROSS THE RED was born in 2004. Its the symbol of an inspiration and inner freedom towards united opposites: masculine - feminine, acceptance - denial, love - hate, life - death. To succeed in own skin, sooner or later we have to remove the boundaries we`ve built. Why we tend to define and frame ourselves? How could we see the real being of each other if we manifest and wear masks? Who am I? This is a real mental and physical challenge for everybody. Come out of the cage! Brake stereotypes and cliches! Unite instead of divide! Open hearts, eyes and minds to see the TRUE being of each other! Accept differences and stop the hate and criticism! Lets take off the masks, plastic boobs, fake smiles and everything that covers and limits our inner freedom. People starve for the truth while the world keeps lying. We can not change the world without changing ourselves, so this is the startingpoint. Let your old self die for the new person to be born. The evolution of life and personality goes through the "grain philosophy" of Jesus Christ - where only if the old (grain) dies or experiences the pain of sacrifice, something new can develop and grow.
CROSS THE RED yoga wear was designed to communicate the message of inner freedom amongst those who think alike and want to network. Do yoga and wear crossthered t-shirts to connect with people who see the absurdity of stereotypes. Yoga, because it is a perfect way to challenge your physical boundries while meditation, silence and questioning of own belief system are mental exercises towards an inner freedom.

After learning the history of California, where the former desert was turned into one of the most important economies of the world - Everita thought about her poor town Jaunjelgava and Latvia. It must be possible to convert corrupt Latvia into the land of flourishing business, which generates wealth and health!
With this idea in mind in the year of 2006 Everita and Brian moved to Latvia to develop their own business and small town Jaunjelgava.
In 2007 their lovely daughter Katalina was born and the White House was created & opened in Ogre to re-present the greatness of this small building.

Drawing parallels with Scarlett O`Hara in "Gone with the Wind" when her home area is overtaken by the Yankees, she wonders to herself if her home, a plantation called Tara, is still standing, or if it was "also gone with the wind which had swept through Georgia."
During the deep economic crisis in Latvia Everita decided to try to save properties from foreclosure by developing few commercial products.
- Inspired by the vintage style of French Victorian times a set of pure silk dream-wear and accessories for women - „Empress` Deligh” was initiated in 2009. With her mom in mind, Everita named it after the legendary Empress Josephine (1763-1814). The symbol of the woman who is waiting for that something and somebody - her man, child, God, fulfilled wishes, love, passion and...everything to live and die for. Its an easy and difficult time. The woman`s time. Will you guess what is she waiting for?
